15th New York Battery

The monument to the 15th New York Battery (15th Independent N.Y. Light Battery) was placed next to the Peach Orchard at the intersection of Wheatfield Road and Sickles Avenue in 1888 by the State of New York. Commanded by Captain Patrick Hart and Lieutenant Edward M. Knox, this Artillery Reserve unit sustained losses of 3 killed and 13 wounded.
