Description

The monument to General Andrew Atkinson Humphreys stands in the center of Fredericksburg National Cemetery. Erected by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, this tribute commemorates the charge his Third Division (Fifth Corps) made against Marye's Heights on December 13, 1862. Consisting of all Pennsylvania regiments, it included the 91st, 126th, 129th, 134th (Tyler's Brigade) and the 123rd, 131st, 133rd, and 155th (Allabach's Brigade).
