Pegram's Battery

As a part of Hill's Division, William J. Pegram's Virginia Battery had taken a position along the Harpers Ferry Road. Delivering fire into the flank, Pegram's guns assisted in driving Burnside's men back after they had managed to get across the Lower Bridge.
