Kirby's Mill

Now protected as a part of the Richfield Heritage Preserve, James Kirby purchased this land in 1919 and built this mill that produced hydroelectric power for his workshop and home. It sits at the end the country’s only patented lake designed ​to eliminate sediment deposits.
