Jackson's Line

Artillery pieces mark the crest position that Thomas J. Jackson's Virginians took on Henry Hill during the First Battle of Manassas on July 21, 1861. With over a dozen cannons, his infantrymen were concealed just behind in the woods before they emerged and charged across the field.
