Orchard Knob

Outside of the City of Chattanooga, a silent sentinel is positioned on Orchard Knob with Lookout Mountain in the background. From here on November 25, 1863, Union Generals Grant, Thomas, and Granger surprisingly watched their troops storm up and take Missionary Ridge.
