Turner's Mississippi Battery

Leading up the Confederate works toward Cheatham Hill, these silent sentinels are positioned to represent the placement of Turner’s Mississippi Battery — Left Section. While cannonading took place across this Northwest Georgia landscape for weeks, the major battle was fought here on June 27, 1864.
