Worthington Farm

Description

Built in 1851, the Worthington Farm's main house served as a place of refuge for John Worthington and his family as they hid in the cellar. During the battle on July 9, 1864, Confederate troops advanced across the farm and advanced toward the Union units standing in line on the nearby Thomas Farm.
